Hi guys! It's kind of nice being at a site where you're part of the first wave of members. There are so many fun usernames available, so many people to meet still, invite codes, and all that good stuff...it's kind of exciting! :)

So, for those of you who don't know me from LJ, I'm Priya. I'm 18 (but turn 19 in sixteen days!) and I am currently a freshman at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. I'm thinking about being an English/International Studies double major and I love music, reading, icon making, dancing, Winx Club, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and lots of other things. I am going to India this summer, so I will probably be posting all the shenanigans that go down over in passports. My icon comm is going to be fleur!

I was very excited to see that there are already other Winx fans here when I added that to my list of interests, haha.

I find it really interesting to see which fandoms and interests are currently represented by Dreamwidth—I think it's a really progressive/hippy group as a whole at the moment. XP There's lots of LGBTIQ stuff, and lots of anti- -isms stuff. Plus, some smaller fandoms are represented already.

Oh yeah? That's really intriguing! I haven't done much exploring yet myself, but that sounds kind of cool.

I pity them, especailly since I made the community here. Lori has warped moi so they'll be getting the same there as they do here. >D

I'm pretty sure the people here at DW aren't going to be idiots, though. I mean, you actually have to do some work to get a code. So if you're not savvy enough to do that, then you won't be here. :D
